Tourist Information Centre

Crail Tourist Information Centre is operated by the team of volunteers at Crail Museum & Heritage Centre.

Crail Museum is closed for the winter.

We will open for Christmas sales on Friday 6th December and Saturday 7th December between 11:00am and 4:00pm.

For more information, see our Visit Us page.

Tourist Information can also be obtained by telephoning 01333 450869 when we are open.

If you decide to visit the Museum you will be greeted at the door and welcomed with socially-distanced open arms!

If you would like to volunteer at the Museum and help us to open up for visitors to our historic Royal Burgh then please see our Volunteers page.

Free Wi-Fi available at Crail Museum

As a service to both tourists and locals Crail Museum has free Wi-Fi available throughout the Museum and just outside the Museum - if you are sitting on the seat opposite the Museum outside the Town Hall, for example.

To use the free Wi-Fi connect your device to "BT_Guest_Wi-Fi".

You will probably then need to "login" to the Wi-Fi network by opening a browser and agreeing to BT's terms and conditions before you can use the connection.

There are limits to the speed of the connection and the type of websites you can connect to. You will be disconnected if you are inactive for 10 minutes or so. The service is provided "as is" with no guarantees.

The nearest "full-time" Tourist Information Centre operated by Visit Scotland, normally offering a full range of services including Accommodation Booking is in St Andrews - for details see:
