Crail Heritage Walk

Denburn Wood

Denburn Wood is owned by Crail Preservation Society (who are also the owners of the Crail Museum building).

It provides a space for exercise and contemplation of nature for the whole community of Crail.

However, this peaceful retreat does not happen all by itself. A band of volunteers known as the Denburn Diggers usually meet once a month to maintain the woodland garden.

Across the road from Denburn Wood is some parkland also owned by Crail Preservation Society - there are plans to make a path across this park to our next destination - but for the moment retrace your steps towards the Church - and turn down the narrow one-way street Kirk Wynd.

Follow this road to Nethergate and then carry straight on into a path leading down to the coast.
